We agreed that the secret is a evil machine known as the mmshare controls the city in its evil lair on top of the city.
We suggested the possibility that in order to get into the mmshare one needs to join a secret soceity. Or maybe find clues around the city (whether objects to compose a key or find clues to reveal the password to get into the mmshare lair).
We also discussed possible prizes for working out how to get into the mmshare, like a gun or money... maybe even a shirt.
The possible backstory is that the previous citizens of the city were killed off by the mmshare and which explains the lifelessness of this otherwise modern society.
How the mmshare turned evil is still undecided. maybe, orginially used as a massive database for the citizens. it was turned evil by ed and jay so as to pursue thier own ends

Space station idea
Today we concluded on possibly employing the idea of having the look of the station as different spheres in the sky that are connected by tubes.
The middle sphere is central administration that connects to every other dome and also provides infomation on the cities backstory, the locations and also hints of its evil secret.
The other sphere will house the different structures that will be made by each group, and the look and feel of each sphere is left to the imagination of each group.
at the bottom of the main sphere will be the space port where ships and people can enter the city as well as a teleportation device that takes people on the ground up into the city.
At the top of the main sphere will be a tower that leads to a small sphere will has the evil lair and the home of the mmshare!!!

THE SECRET
i know this is cheating because i'm writing my secret way into the development process but i forgot to do it earlier and so getting it out of the way now.
MMSHARE
Our story is set on a space station city that overs over the earth. To the Normal observer, it looks like a average futuristic city thats up to date with the latest of culture and lifestyle trends. but beneth this aparant futuristic utopia exterior lies a troublesome secret that dominates the existance of every citizen aboard. This secret lies at the core of the city where a monstrous machine rules the lives of its oblivious poeple, a machine so intergrated into society that the poeple of this world could not survive without it, a machine known as the mmshare!
The mmshare is an evil creation whose only motive is to drain the creativety of poeple for its own end. originally it was designed as a MSMD (Massive Self Managed Database) where people can upload thier personal data as well as access infomation and connect to other users, alot like the internet except... its not.... But eventually it turned corrupt.... typical. But the mmshare is only the intrument to this diabolical scheme, for the chamber that houses the mmshare is actually the evil lair and ed and jay who site on throwns above the mmshare that also acts as a control pannel for the whole city. And they use the mmshare to steal ideas from others and make millions from it.
The evil lair is kept restriced from the rest of the city's citizens, and anyone who enters unauthorized will fall through trap doors and be taken to dreaded chambers under the city known as Allan's basement, there they will be tortured by forever by being subjected to sex paddles and center fold pictures of men in gstrings.
The throwns that Jay and Ed sit on control various booby-traps around the city for poeple who continually work of the mmshare even though they have been told a thousand times not to, or are gay... like Milky.

Augmented reality game review
Microsofts "Vanishing point" ARG was a successful marketing campaign to promote vista. bacially you sign up for this game and every week 12 new puzzles are released in a form of a puzzle box (4 easy ones, 4 medium and 4 hard), players can solve these puzzles to gain pionts and win cool prizes.
The main feature of this game is that in order to solve these flash-puzzles, you need the corresponding clue.
